The Spurs rodeo road trip continued Monday in Utah with San Antonio falling to the Jazz 90-81. This is the 3rdstraight loss for the Spurs since coming back from the All-Star break. In the game Tim Duncan recorded another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Jazz were led by Trey Burke off the bench who had a game high 23 points. The next game for the Spurs is Wednesday at Portland.
While most of the Austin area high school basketball playoff games were cancelled Monday, the action continued in San Antonio. In boys action, Reagan won their first round game 74-59 over Wagner. The Clark Cougars are moving on as well by beating South San 52-41. Also, 9th ranked Clemens took care of MacArthur 96-56.
New Houston Cougar football coach Tom Herman made a visit to Austin Monday and our Travis Recek talked with him about winning a national title last month and his connections to UT.
